Santa Fe University of Art and Design Merit Scholarship

Description

This merit award recognizes academic achievement from recent high school graduates and GED recipients by providing tuition assistance for all those who meet all eligibility requirements.

Award

Recipients will receive $3,000, $6,000, $9,000 or $12,000 per semester, renewable for the full length of student’s college career, with the condition that all eligibility requirements continue to be met.

Timing

Award Announced: Awards are communicated on a rolling basis, following the applicant’s review for admission.

Criteria

  • Student must submit test scores and/or transcript as part of the admission process. Automatic review upon admission for those with test scores and/or transcripts.
    • GPA: Merit is decided based on the transcript submitted for admission, even if there are courses in progress.
    • Multiple Tests/GPA Consideration: Students receive merit for one category only (ACT, SAT or GPA). Whichever is highest is what is awarded to the student
    • Test scores must be less than 2 years old at the time of admission.

 Applying

  • No separate application is required. All applicants submitting official test scores or transcripts will be reviewed for eligibility.

Disbursement

  • One payment per semester.
  • The university must be in receipt of all of the applicant’s official documentation for scholarship funds to be disbursed.

Renewal Conditions

  • Recipients must maintain a 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale), a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester, and be continuously enrolled.
  • Students must be in good financial standing with no outstanding debt to Santa Fe University of Art and Design

Additional Information

  • This scholarship can be combined with the Financial Need Scholarship or one percentage award as institutional aid limits allow.
