Federal Pell Grants

Federal Pell Grants are generally awarded to undergraduate students who have not yet earned a bachelor's or professional degree.

Eligibility is determined by the U.S. Department of Education, using a standard formula established by Congress.

The Pell Grant range for the 2011-2012 award year is $555 to $5,550. 

Your award will depend on your

  • Expected family contribution (EFC)
  • Cost of attendance
  • Whether you are enrolled full time or part time
  • Whether you are attending for a full academic year or less

You may not receive Pell Grant funds from more than one school at a time.
