Graphic Design Facilities

Graphic Design Digital Lab

Located in Benildus Hall, this is the main lab for the Graphic Design Department. It is available seven days per week to graphic design students. The design lab features:

  • 16 workstations, each equipped with an 8-core Mac Pro computer, a 24" LED monitor, a Wacom Tablet, and a scanner
  • Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Flash)
  • Adobe After Effects
  • Final Cut Pro
  • Font Studio Pro
  • Microsoft Office
  • High-speed color laser printer
  • Large format 24" inkjet poster printer

Digital Center

Located in Fogelson Library, this interdisciplinary resource supports the multiple instructional needs of faculty and students with technical resources for instruction, collaborative projects, high-end coursework, research, communication, and creativity. Features include:

  • Latest computers, scanners, and printers
  • Digital inputs and outputs
  • Digital tablets and output drives
  • Music keyboards and SMART Board
  • FireWire connectivity and wireless and network access
  • Software for database management, GIS, programming
  • 3D Studio MAX animation

Fogelson Library

Our main academic library offers access to knowledge in many formats, including books, journal articles, electronic media, and instruction on how to locate, evaluate, and analyze information. All of our collection supports curricula and stimulates critical and creative thinking. Highlights include:
