“We are very grateful to Santa Fe University for its continuous sponsorship and for providing us with such a beautiful space to host our fundraising exhibit,” said Dr. James Ledyard, head learner/principal of Monte del Sol. “We rely on the generosity of the Santa Fe community for funding our arts program, and this exhibit serves the dual purpose of generating much-needed resources and showcasing the extraordinary work of our students.”

Auction items include artisan works and fine art pieces, as well as gift certificates from local patrons. All student art is for sale, and a series of performances will animate the event throughout the night. Food and nonalcoholic beverages will be served.

“This is the second time we are hosting this event for Monte del Sol, and we’re looking forward to greeting all our community members who so generously support arts education for our young generations,” said Larry Hinz, president of Santa Fe University of Art and Design. “Monte del Sol and Santa Fe University thrive with our students’ creativity and passion for the arts, and both institutions are proud to continue enriching Santa Fe’s cultural opportunities.”

Bidding for the silent auction concludes at 8 p.m. The exhibition will be open to the public through Sunday, Feb. 5, by appointment only, at 1-505-310-5565.
